Short description
Déter proposes a learning program for self-taught street culture artists with projects in the field of dance, event organization, research and hybrid projects around movement.
A training program that is quite innovative for France, initiated by a very well known choreographer (choreographer of a very innovative form of the piece "Les Indes Galantes" at the National Opera of Paris) who aims to promote artistic practices coming from street culture and whose common point is to declare themselves self-taught. The program proposes pedagogical methods that use the body, the relationship to origins and peer learning.

Contribution to the "Who knows?" handbook
Interesting program for the project because it is supported by recognized institutions and dedicated to self-taught artists. The link to Shakin' seems clear because of the creation of a learning community based on alternative and non-institutional artistic learning. Self-education is a very inspiring form of learning for the Shakin' project. Basing a learning community on this one criterion helps to focus on subaltern methodologies rather than subaltern groups.
